It's quite crazy to see what some people are saying in the internet about honey farms in Singapore. Yup, there may be quite some flora and fauna in Singapore, but to actually suggest that we visit the "bee farm" at the Farmart Centre to educate ourselves on honeybees is quite unthinkable.
The "bee farm" signs all over at Farmart raised our hope of encountering some bees that day. However, when you eventually reached the "bee farm", what we saw was a tiny shop selling chilled honey drink (cold water + honey) in plastic disposable cups. And when asked if we could see the honeybees, the lady at the shop, pointing to the empty container (which looked like a very small fish tank), said the next batch of bees from Thailand had not arrived. Apparently, it was just a exhibit of a mini-batch of bees and not any kind of bee-farm!
So by now, we should all know this well -- Singapore is a without a single bee farm.
